Kavya Madhavan, who has filed a divorce petition against her husband Nishal Chandra, has said that she was treated like a housemaid in her matrimonial home. The actress alleged that her in-laws and husband were money-minded and expected her to do all the household work. She also claimed that they suspected her of infidelity and unable to bear the torture, she decided to walk out of the marriage.
Kavya had acted in several Tamil and Malayalam film including Kasi, Aparichithan, and Classmates. She is currently acting in Christian Brothers and Thambi Durai.
