Rahman to write autobiography?

Oscar winning music director A.R. Rahman will pen his experiences starting from Roja (his debut film) to the yet-to-be released Mani Ratnam's Raavan. Reportedly the book will be of a coffee table kind and will also contain photos of about 300 singers with comments from the Mozart of Madras. AR-Rahman autobiography

Rahman began composing film music with Mani Ratnam's Roja (Tamil) in 1992 after assisting Tamil film maestro Ilaiyaraja for nearly a decade. He was awarded the Rajat Kamal award for Best Music Director at the National Film Awards for the film, the first time ever for a debut composer and after that, his career has shown an ever-increasing upward trend. Roja was also listed in TIME's Top 10 Movie Soundtracks of All Time. Rahman went on to win the National Award three more times, for his scores for Minsaara Kanavu in 1997, Lagaan in 2002 and Kannathil Muthamittal, the most ever by any composer. And he has won the Filmfare Award 25 times!
